About: Born with the ability to read minds, Anna was abandoned at a young age, then adopted by the Asakuras, a powerful family of shamans. Seeing her talents right away, they set her to work training as an itako, a powerful shaman who can call spirits anytime, anywhere, given they know some information about who it is they're summoning. She thrived under their instruction, and was promptly arranged to marry Yoh, the successor to the Asakura name.

Anna is direct, aggressive, and clever as well. She makes no secret of her opinions and seems as cold as ice. Yet, she cares deeply for those important to her, and has been known to completely break down in hysterics if something were to happen to someone she loves. Despite her confronting personality, Anna herself has no real desire to be the center of attention. She is rather content to be a supporter and work behind the scenes to gain power. In fact, she would be content to be a housewife. As long as she wasn't a housewife to a loser, that is.

Anna is well-known in the spiritual community for her ability to control spirits, but she is infamous for her "right hand slap" and the "phantom left hand slap," techniques that prominently display the raw physical power that few suspect she possesses.

Taken from her home at the age of fifteen, Anna now works as the secretary to the Mayor of Halloween Town. She's done her best to put her past life behind her, but still grieves for her past every now and then.

Main Weapon: Technically, Anna's main weapon is her necklace, consisting of exactly one thousand eighty beads. It is based off of the traditional one hundred eight bead necklace, but because there are more beads, it has ten times the power. However, this is only effective against spirits, ghosts, and other things associated with the supernatural. Against human opponents, her slaps and intimidating personality are often strong enough weapons. If those don't work, she can always summon a servant to help her.
Fighting Style: Anna does not normally fight. Instead, she often summons any spirits or ghosts directly under her control to aid her. Currently, she can summon Zenki and Kouki, two shikigami spirits that serve her.
Strengths: Against a supernatural opponent, she is almost unbeatable. Any spirit or ghost that gets trapped in he necklace is subject to her whim. Often, Anna will exorcise a ghost or demon, or if she feels her captive can be of use to her, will make them a servant of hers, and will be able to summon them at will. Also, she may summon the spirit of any deceased human, from anywhere, given she knows some basic information on who it is she summons. (This has very limited use and is generally only useful for shamans) Anna makes a good ally, but only to those in tune with the spiritual world. Anna's greatest strength, however, is training other fighters and enabling them to reach their maximum potential.
Weaknesses: Because she usually does not directly fight, Anna is at a severe disadvantage if she must fight alone. (In fact, against any decent opponent, she's pretty much done for) Anna prefers not to fight and will attempt to avoid battle unless absolutely necessary. She'll still rough you up if she feels like it, though, but no direct fighting unless it's unavoidable.
